Iranian psychologist in Germany: online therapy in Persian, on Berlin time
Finding a Persian-speaking therapist in Germany with a free slot is hard, and a Therapieplatz through public insurance often means months of waiting and sessions in German. Tajrobeh has a therapist based in Germany, an in-person partner clinic in Germany, and 150+ vetted therapists whose hours are scheduled in your time zone. The introductory session is free; each session after that is €25 to €35.
What it really means: A tightening of the heart; for a person, a smell, a street. Not only for home.
Some things can only be said in Persian. A Persian-speaking therapist hears exactly those.
What makes life in Germany hard, and why language matters
These are the things Iranians in Germany tell us in the introductory session. None of them is an illness; they are pressures that need to be heard in your own language.
Your German may be B2 or C1 and enough for work and the Ausländerbehörde. Talking about fear, shame or a relationship in a language you have no feeling for still cuts half of what you mean.
Residence permits, recognition of your degree, the Bürgeramt, finding a flat. Each comes with weeks or months of uncertainty, and the uncertainty wears you down more than the work itself.
Short days from November to March and a family a few time zones away. Bad news arrives from a distance, and there is little you can do about it.
A therapist who lives in Germany herself
Simin Ghorbani is a Tajrobeh therapist based in Germany and knows the rhythm of life here first hand. If her hours or approach do not suit you, we introduce someone from our 150+ vetted therapists whose working hours match Berlin time.

From your number to the first session, in four steps
Nothing to install, no Iranian bank account needed, and nothing to pay before the free introductory session.

Leave your number
In the form below, or on Telegram. If you are a student, say so there.

We message you the same day
We ask what is going on and which hours suit you, then suggest a few therapists closest to your situation and your time zone.

Free introductory session
With the therapist themselves, not reception. Short, and meant for you to see whether you feel comfortable with them. If not, we introduce someone else.

Continue, in your own hours
Sessions are scheduled in your local time and each one is paid in euros with your own card.
Persian-speaking therapy in Germany: €25 to €35 per session
Prices are fixed in euros and do not change with exchange rates or your country. The introductory session is free and you pay nothing before it.
Tajrobeh’s student support programme. Just tick “I am a student” in the form; we do not ask for complicated paperwork.
Individual session, no contract and no minimum number of sessions. Each session is paid separately.
Public health insurance (GKV) does not pay for Tajrobeh sessions, because our therapists are not registered in the German insurance system. Some private or supplementary insurers reimburse part of the cost of psychotherapy outside the system; for every session you receive an official receipt in euros. Many clients start Persian therapy now and keep their place on a GKV waiting list at the same time.
Leave your WhatsApp number; we take it from there
We message you, ask what is going on, and set up the free introductory session with a therapist. If you are a student, tick the box to join the student support programme.
We message you the same day. Your number is used only for this contact and goes nowhere else; no mailing lists, no third parties.
What Iranians in Germany ask before they start
How do I find an Iranian psychologist in Germany?
Leave your number in the form on this page. Tajrobeh reception messages you the same day, asks what is going on and which hours suit you, and introduces a few Persian-speaking therapists: our therapist based in Germany, or therapists in Iran whose hours match yours. The introductory session with the therapist is free.
How much does a Persian-speaking therapist cost in Germany?
At Tajrobeh a session costs €25 for students and €35 for everyone else, fixed in euros. You pay with a German bank card via Stripe or PayPal; no Iranian bank account is needed. A private session with a therapist based in Germany, outside insurance, usually starts at around €70.
Does German health insurance cover it?
Public insurance (GKV) does not, because our therapists are not registered in the German insurance system. Some private or supplementary insurers reimburse part of the cost. You receive an official receipt for every session.
Is the session in Persian or German?
Sessions are in Persian. If you prefer to say some things in German or English, write it in the form and we will introduce a therapist who is also fluent in that language.
What is the time difference?
With our therapist based in Germany, none. Therapists in Iran are one and a half to two and a half hours ahead of Germany, so their working hours cover roughly your morning to early evening.
Can I see someone in person in Germany?
Yes. Tajrobeh has an in-person partner clinic in Germany, and you can combine in-person and online sessions. Message reception for the address and available times.

You do not need to know what the problem is yet
That is exactly what the introductory session is for: a short conversation with a therapist who understands your language, free and with no obligation. If it fits, you continue; if not, you have lost nothing.
